Guesthouse
“Vacation with a Purpose”
One the primary objectives for The Eternal Nation Guesthouse is for small groups, individual supporters, and supporting church groups to come from abroad and see the Land in a unique way that will bring the Bible alive and ideally give the experience of a life time with an eternal purpose. Guests stay in the heart of Jerusalem only minutes from the Old City and all the major Biblical sites. They will see and touch the people, the culture, and the Land in a very purposeful way.
It could be best described as a place to provide for a “vacation with a purpose” and a Biblical primer of the Holy Land and Jewish culture. Supporters and others seeking how they could be used for the Kingdom are the ideal guests. The goal would be to impart the vision of Luke 24 and the Road to Emmaus where the disciple’s “hearts burned within” them to know more about the Messiah!
Prior to a group’s arrival we work together to create the appropriate itinerary matched to the needs of each group. It is intended to give a great overview of major Biblical, cultural, and archaeological sites. There will be a mix of touring, museums, day hikes, and other outdoor adventures that will be based on a biblical curriculum to see the Land of the Bible firsthand. There will be a basic package of study materials.
Each day there would be short morning and/or evening devotionals & short training sessions before and after the teams go out in the community to tour the Land. It is the expectation that the group will meet people we can give Bibles to and follow up with. There would time for daily debriefing and prayer for the nation and individuals we meet.
One of the major goals would be to further The Road to Emmaus vision “to the Jew first” initiative here and around the world. The vision and hope are that each person leaves refreshed, trained, and energized with a greater love, and knowledge of and appreciation for the Jewish people and praying for the peace of Jerusalem. Participants would be able to use what they learn right away and bring it back to their home congregations as well. They will ideally go home to their congregations and develop a priority of Jewish outreach and a love for the Jewish people and Israel.
